· Formula for Pythagorean Theorem is “A2 + B2 =C2”

Ex. a2 + b2 = c2
=(5)2 + (6)2
=25 + 36
=61 ß square root is
c2=7.8
Example 2
Ex. a2 + b2 = c2
(2)2 + b2 + (6)2
=4 + b2 = 36
b2 = 36 – 4
b2 = 32 ß square root is
b = 5.6
